Best for getting to Fuji
Right when you are actually going to the mountain. Wrong when you want photos and dinner in Tokyo.
Buy this only if tonight’s bed is on the Fuji side. It is a private approach, not a round-trip tour.
A scenic loop and a transfer can cost about the same and still be different products. This one ends at a helipad in the Oshino area. The loops end where they started. If you mix them up, you either get stuck in Yamanashi without a plan, or you pay charter money to go home to Shinkiba when you meant to stay at the lakes.
The flying itself is short. Highway buses and the Fuji Excursion eat half a day; this eats a briefing plus roughly half an hour in the air. You are paying to delete the approach, and you still need everything after the landing: luggage rules, a taxi, a hotel, a way back to Tokyo later in the week.
Morning, midday and afternoon departures exist because this is meant to slot into a real itinerary, not a souvenir hour. If you only have an afternoon free and you sleep in Ginza, you want a loop, not this.
